Dear Martinez Community,

Welcome to our spring and summer schedule at Martinez Adult Education. We are excited for the months to come and the great opportunities we have provided. This spring and summer the focus is careers, with a particular focus on careers in healthcare. Why? Well, currently there is an increased demand for healthcare workers, and as a partner in workforce solutions, we want to help provide training so that our students can fill those vacant positions and start a first career or train for a new career.

Whether you are new to our school or continuing from the winter we encourage you to take advantage of the resources that are offered at our school. You can schedule a time for help with your resume, practice for an interview, or meet with our Career Coach Angelica Huerta. All these services are free and you do not need to be enrolled in a class to request help.

Martinez Adult Education will host a Careers in Healthcare event on Thursday, April 25th, 2024 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. This event will host information, employers, and training programs in the healthcare fields that lead to great careers. Please see page 16 for more information. We will be adding employers to this event, so look for updates on our website.
